Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam H.E. Nguyen Tan Dung and his spouse and delegation visited KIST on March 28, 2012. Upon their arrival, they were greeted warmly by Minister of MEST Ju-Ho Lee, KIST President Dr. Kil-Choo Moon, and 16 Vietnamese IRDA students.
As they discussed about cooperation in science and technology, both countries expressed their firm commitment and willingness to carry out the project for the establishment of a science and technology institute in Vietnam based on the KIST model.
Afterwards, the visitors were given a demonstration of the robot MARU and the multi-touch screen KIST Smart Wall in the KIST International Cooperation Building, after which they took a group photo with the Vietnamese IRDA students.
Through Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung’s visit to KIST, more cooperative measures in science and technology research between Vietnam and Korea are expected to be implemented.
